The Matteson Capital Construction Company, based in California, appealed to Oklahoma City City authorities to obtain a permit to increase the height of the Boardwalk at Bricktown Tower. If the request is approved, it will lead to the creation of the highest skyscraper in the US with a height of 581.25 meters, which in turn will take fifth place among the highest skyscrapers in the world.
The project includes three towers, each with a height of 345 feet, as well as the fourth of an extremely high tower, known as Legends Tower, which rises for 1907 feet, creating a striking silhouette against the background of Oklahoma City horizon. The height is symbolically dedicated to the year when Oklahoma was recognized as the 46th state of the United States.
The project also includes:
- Hyatt Dream Hotel Hotel with 480 rooms and 85 condominiums with service in Dream Tower.
- Hyatt Hotel with 350 rooms and 100 served condominiums in Legends Tower.
- 1776 residential units, including accessible housing and luxurious options.
- Commercial premises and restaurants with an area of more than 110,000 square feet.
- Public observation deck, restaurant and bar on the upper floors of an extremely tall tower where visitors can enjoy a fascinating view.
The project also includes a variety of public places, including a watering facility of 17,000 square feet, and several roofs that provide an unsurpassed view of the city for residents and guests, creating a city oasis in the heart of Oklahoma City.
The implementation of such a project requires expert knowledge in many areas. In addition to the Matteson Capital architectural firm, the project team includes Thinkbox and Legends Capital Management, to Tomasetti and Johnson & Associates, Fire Subson and Johnson Buddowers and Johnson Sub-Sub-Sub Pelps as well as Hyatt and Dream Hotel Managing Companies. The project's financial team includes Bcrem Incorporated and Global Economic Strategies, and the legal team is headed by Greenberg Traurrig LLC.
