In Ukraine, a large -scale expansion of the experimental project of basic general military training (BZVP) of recruits directly in combat crews is planned. The Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Sirsky reported.
The commander -in -chief held a meeting to improve the quality of military training, during which the Armed Forces command analyzed the effectiveness of the new program. Graduates of training centers have undergone basic training, increased to 1.5 months (previously lasted 30 days). The brigades expressed positive feedback on the level of combat training, but emphasized the need to improve the psychological training of the military.
In addition, Ukraine is improving the instructor training program. The duration of their training was increased from one to two months, increased the content of the course and improved teaching.
Syrsky noted that the first results of the experimental project testified to its effectiveness. Program participants are held by BZVP on the basis of combat units, which allows:
- To achieve a higher level of military training.
- Control the quality of training directly in military units.
- Strengthen the skills of working with weapons and military equipment.
- Improve the coordination of the team and the transfer of the traditions of the unit.
- Significantly reduce the number of emergency situations during training.
Despite the positive results, the project has challenges. One of the problems is the staffing of groups of instructors in the teams and strengthening their work, as well as their involvement in training centers.
According to Sirsky, among the "flagships" in the preparation of recruits-landing troops, which demonstrate the best results in the implementation of updated training programs.
The commander -in -chief stressed that the experimental project will be expanded to more combat units, which will significantly improve the overall level of training of the Ukrainian military.
