In Ukraine, new mobilization rules have entered into force, according to which men who come to the territorial center of acquisition and social support (TCC) to update their credentials will now be immediately sent for physical examination. The amendments were made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on January 28, 2025 to the procedure for conscription for military service during mobilization.
Earlier, according to Marina Bekalo's lawyer, men who voluntarily addressed the CCC for data renewal did not go to the Military Medical Commission (VLK) immediately. Instead, they were handed over to another date. This rule has now been abolished, and the conscripts are immediately referred to a physical
Changes imply that physical examination is part of the VLK procedure, and innovations are designed to simplify the process for those who have to update their data in the CCC.
In addition, since January 28, the Cabinet of Ministers has introduced electronic referrals to military medical commissions. Now the conscripts are not obliged to go to the shopping center to obtain a paper direction and stand in line. Instead, they can apply for electronic referral through the Reserve+platform and get notifications with the necessary information directly to the smartphone.
Electronic direction is the first stage in the large -scale reform of the VLK. In the future, the integration of information systems of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine is planned, which will make the medical examination even more convenient. From the fall of 2025, conscripts will be able to choose a medical institution on their own for examination if it has a contract with the NSAU.
