Today, on February 14, 757 servicemen who died in defending the country were returned to Ukraine. This was reported by the coordination headquarters on the management of prisoners of war.
According to official data, repatriation covers the Kurakhiv, Pokrovsky, Bakhmut, Khalugar, Lugansk and Zaporizhzhya areas, as well as from morgues in Russia.
Upon return of bodies, Ukrainian law enforcement officers, together with the expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will carry out the necessary procedures to identify the dead.
This event is another reminder of the high price that Ukrainian soldiers pay for the country's freedom and independence.
