The United Kingdom plans to take intelligence flights over the Eastern Mediterranean, including the Israel and the Gaza Sector, in order to help hostages held by Hamas fighters. This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense.
According to the department, cooperation with partners in the region is aimed at releasing hostages, including British citizens. Supervisory flights are planned, but the planes will be naked and will not perform combat missions. Their main purpose is to find hostages.
The UK Ministry of Defense emphasized that the information obtained during the flight will be transmitted exclusively to the hostage rescue to the bodies.
