After meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Vice President Jay Di Vance said that the United States wanted Russia's war against Ukraine to end and establish a long peace. About it reports RBC-Ukraine.
"We want the end of the war, we want the murders to stop, but we want to achieve a long peace, not a conflict in Europe in a few years," he said.
Vance specified that a number of "good dialogues" were conducted about how to achieve long -term peace together. And such dialogues will be even more in the coming days, weeks and months.
When asked, if Ukraine is not ready to sit at the negotiation table with Russia, Vance replied that there is already a forward promotion on this issue.
