Ilon Musk will continue to remain a friend and adviser to US President Donald Trump, even after he has left the post at the Government Efficiency (Doge). This was stated by US Vice president, Jay Di Vance, reports Reuters.
"Doge has a lot of work, and so, this work will continue after Ilon's departure. But, in fact, Ilon will remain a friend and advisor for me and the president," Vance said, commenting on a possible resignation of the mask.
On the eve of Politico, US President Donald Trump told his assistants and ministers that Musk was planning to leave his position soon. However, the spokeswoman of the White House Caroline Levitt denied these rumors by calling the publication of the Politico newspaper "garbage" and assuring that Musk did not plan the resignation in the near future.
Musk, who held the position of Head of the US State Administration Department, will remain an important figure for Trump's administration, despite the possible change in his official status.
