The Supreme Court of Israel has made a historical decision that has been changing the practice of military service of ultra -ortoxytosal Jewish students, introduced since the state of state creation. This decision terminates the practice of dismissing this group of students from compulsory military service, which was the main cause of controversy in society.
Ultratodoxal Jewish men should also be obliged to be military service in the Israeli army. The corresponding decision was made by the High Court of Israel, reports Jerusalem Post.
According to the decision of the Supreme Court of Israel, students of ultra -orthodoxal religion will also be obliged to serve in the army in the future.
The expanded board of nine high court judges on Tuesday ordered a complete set of harredims (the name of different ultra -ortoxy Jewish communities - ed) to the tanka and freezing of all funds for institutions that do not obey the requirements since April 1.
