Military -service with “limited suitable” status risk a fine of 17 thousand

In Ukraine, some of the military servicemen may receive a fine of 17 thousand hryvnias for failure to comply with the requirements of the Law on Mobilization this week. It is about those who previously had the status of "restricted" and are now obliged to undergo a second medical examination-the Military Medical Commission (VLK).

From May 4 last year, the status of "limited" was abolished. Everyone who had previously had it must undergo a re -examination to clarify their suitability. The Prikhodko and partners at the law firm warn: ignoring the Call on the VLK can lead to serious problems. A significant number of conscripts do not appear due to fear of the CCC, but this does not release from liability. For the failure to appear on the re -VLK, a fine of 17 to 25.5 thousand hryvnias is provided. In addition, military and law enforcement officers can stop the person on the street to check the documents. If the conscript does not fulfill the requirements of the law, it will be wanted.

The head of the military accounting and reservation department of Zhytomyr CCC Viktor Poltoracin reported that violators will also be forcibly delivered to military enlistment offices for registration of protocols and bringing to administrative responsibility. He also stressed that the wanted person cannot be credited to special accounting at the enterprise and does not receive reservations.

Thus, the conscript, especially those who have previously had the status of "restricted", should immediately undergo re -examination in the military enlistment office to avoid penalties and legal problems.
