Military expert Konstantin Mashovets believes that according to the latest successes of the Russian Federation, there are several key factors on the front that contribute to the activation of their offensive actions. After analyzing the situation on the battlefield, the expert identifies several important aspects that could influence changes in Russia's military tactics.
He speaks of "changing the entire strategic paradigm of war", which is the reason for Moscow's awareness of its strengths on the battlefield and building on this basis by the Russian command of a new tactics and strategy of war:
- greater mobilization potential, which allows to deploy the group, more than the Ukrainian in terms of forces and means;
-greater financial, economic and industrial-defense potential, which allows to maintain and ensure the functioning of such a group;
- Geopolitical weight - nuclear weapons and special services around the world.
"This enables our enemy to provide" minimization "of assistance from the world society of Ukraine and at the same time to provide almost allied actions on itself by a number of" not the last in the world "of states," Mashovets writes.
“In aggregate, all this led to a change in the approaches (strategy) to the Kremlin's war, which is reflected and directly, as they say, on the battlefield. From the conduct of "deep, cutting blows", with the promotion of the territory, which at the initial stage of the war, ended, for the enemy, as a rule, a defeat, to stable positional forms Expert.
“The enemy is not afraid to exchange his people in the territory, moreover, he seeks it. At the same time, Ukraine, in the person of its highest military-political leadership, on the contrary, for some reason decided to get rid of successful rather effective decentralized methods of warfare, as it was in 2022 and partially in 2023, and returned to the banal postulates of war "from the border to the border". And now he tries, unlike the successful, initial stage of the war, "defend every shred", it is in the strategic paradigm that the enemy imposed on us. We see the results of these changes now, ”Mashovets writes.
