Vodafone blocks numbers per day of non -payment: what is worth knowing subscribers

Ukrainians were warned about the likelihood of locking the mobile number the next day after the fare is not paid. Cases where the operator blocks the number even for a short payment delay, Vodafone users were recorded.

One of the journalists of the newspaper found that after the delay in paying the new tariff, his number was temporarily blocked. The room was unlocked approximately 30 minutes after payment. However, according to the journalist, the process itself was complicated by the fact that the mobile Internet did not work because of the lock, so it was impossible to replenish the account through online services.

Users, especially the elderly, are outraged by such rigid practice. Earlier, the operator allowed to pay only for the day package of the Internet without requiring complete replenishment. Now even a temporary lack of funds in the account leads to immediate restriction of access to communication. This creates a problem for the human environment: the subscriber cannot be called, so a pensioner or child may not even know that their number is inactive. The operator claims that hard blocking information is false. In a comment for the Trukha Telegram channel, Vodafone Support Service stated that: conditions did not change; In case of non -payment, the tariff for day is activated; The full lock of the number occurs only after 370 days without replenishing the account. Moreover, 60 days after that the number remains available for incoming calls. And to restore it is enough to replenish the balance for 5 UAH.

Despite official explanations, users' complaints indicate that sometimes the locking occurs immediately after the day of debiting the funds. It is probably about an automated system of restriction of services in the "minus" balance sheet. And different users can have excellent credit limits that can only be configured through a mobile application - which is not always convenient for the older generation.
