According to Deutsche Welle, Germany demonstrates positive dynamics in the employment of Ukrainian refugees. Only in September 2023 about 8,500 Ukrainians found work in the German labor market, started training or engaged in entrepreneurial activity. These data were voiced by the Minister of Labor of Germany Hubertus Galem.
This figure is more than twice as high as September 2023.
According to Gayl, the reason for the greater employment of Ukrainian refugees lies in the effectiveness of the project of Job Turbo, which helps to find work immediately after the completion of integration courses in the presence of basic knowledge of the German language.
According to July 2024, about 266,000 out of 700,000 working -age Ukrainians who arrived in Germany were arranged for work. At the same time, 213,000 of them found work in the field of social insurance, 53 000 - work on an incomplete rate.
According to the Labor Agency, the main problem that Ukrainians face when searching for work is a complex process of recognizing foreign professional qualifications.
