Licensed banks and official exchange offices remain the safest places for the purchase of foreign currency. In the case of problems with a bill in such institutions, an official complaint can be filed.
To protect yourself, it is important to know the basic signs of fake notes. The real dollar has a watermark and a protective strip that is visible in the light. If you tilt the bill, the number of face value changes color - in fake it usually remains constant. Microdrok, embossed printing and characteristic crunch also distinguish a real banknote.
Particular attention should be paid to 100 dollar bills. Fakes often do not have a blue three -dimensional ribbon or bell image.
