Yevhen Dykyi told whether the war will end in 2025

The end of the war in Ukraine depends on many factors, said the veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian war, former commander of the platoon of the Aydar battalion Yevgeny Wild on the air of the Espresso channel. In his comment, he emphasized that it is difficult to assess the likelihood of a conflict by the end of 2025, but there is an opportunity.

Answering the question of the probability of the end of the war by 2025, the wild noted: "50/50. It will either end or will not end." According to him, to predict the development of events is "divination on the coffee grounds", since there are many factors that affect the course of the conflict, including the timing of its completion and the possible victory of one of the parties.

Commenting on the statement of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky about the opportunity to take steps to end the war in 2025, the wild stressed that the President said not that the war would end so far, but about the possibility of taking serious measures. "The difference between these two messages is huge. The people hear what he wants to hear," he said.

Wild also pointed out that further actions depend on whether Ukraine would take advantage of the opportunities provided and what steps the enemy would take. "And only then will it become clear when and how this war is over," he added.

According to Wild, there is a chance at the end of the war in 2025, but it is impossible to estimate the likelihood of this completion due to a large amount of uncertainty. "It is not obvious whether we can mobilize normally or not. And even less certainty about the steps that the enemy will take," he said. According to him, the key is to take the right actions on the Ukrainian side, and then it will be possible to see when and what it will end.
