Ukraine receives continuous support from European countries in the fight against Russian aggression, and recently several countries have announced new help packages.
Denmark announced the allocation of 405 million crowns (about $ 56.8 million) for humanitarian aid and restoration of Ukraine's infrastructure. According to the statement of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, some of the funds will be directed to basic assistance (food, medicines, water and housing) for the most affected regions of Ukraine. The rest of the money will be used to restore the infrastructure that was seriously injured as a result of war. Denmark's Foreign Minister Lars Lukke Rasmussen noted that the country will support Ukraine "as much as it will be needed." In total, the humanitarian aid of Denmark has exceeded 1 billion Danish crowns (over $ 140 million) from the beginning of the war, and military assistance is about $ 7.5 billion.
Norway has made the decision to allocate 12.5 billion Norwegian crowns (about $ 1.1 billion) for humanitarian aid and maintenance of Ukraine's energy security. These funds have become part of the distribution of Nansen support program for Ukraine for 2025. Norway Prime Minister Jonas Gar Star stressed that the war has caused enormous suffering, and Ukraine's support is extremely important.
Sweden has announced the allocation of 1.2 billion Swedish crowns (more than $ 127 million) to transfer air defense systems to Ukraine. This contribution is part of a large support package with a total value of 13.5 billion Swedish crowns. Sweden Prime Minister ULF Kristerson, while visiting Kiev, also announced the allocation of € 100 million to strengthen the air defense system of Ukraine.
