On Monday, a videoconference of defense ministers of European countries will be held, dedicated to strengthening Ukraine's support. According to Bloomberg , more than ten ministers will take part in the meeting, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Poland, as well as EU and NATO representatives.
The main topic of the meeting will be the development of new defense plans due to the probable reduction of military and financial support of Ukraine by the United States. Washington also began negotiations on peace without the participation of European countries and Kiev, which can significantly affect the security situation in the region.
The meeting will take place against the backdrop of a visit to several European leaders to Kiev on the occasion of the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Chairman of the European Commission Ursula von Der Lyen will be brought to the Ukrainian capital.
In addition, a meeting of EU foreign ministers is scheduled in Brussels, and next week French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Keer Starmer will visit the United States for talks with Donald Trump.
