The special operation, which led to an attack on the oil depot and energy in the Russian city of Orel, was carried out by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR). This was reported by the source in Ukrainian intelligence.
"According to the objects in the Eagle, there is a Ukrainian military intelligence," the source said, without naming specific units or persons who took part in the special operation.
The interlocutor also added that the operation was conducted with the assistance of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Foundation "Come back alive".
Today, on January 9, in the Russian city of the eagle there were explosions, which the Russians perceived as an attack of drones. According to the propaganda Telegram channels, the attack occurred on the territory of Orelnaftoproduct oil depot and Orelenergo. One of the drones hit the fuel reservoir in the oil depot. Attack details remain unknown.
Air defense also recorded similar events in the Kursk region. There is no detailed information on the causes and consequences of the attack.
