During the one and a half months, the operation of the telephone "hotline" of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for persons missing in special circumstances, received 3 627 appeals from citizens, the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, every day the Secretariat of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs receive 102 appeals from relatives of the missing persons, and in the last week their number is 613.
"It is 3 627 appeals during the work of the" hotline ". And for each specialists are taken with all the attention," - said Klimenko. He emphasized that this work requires not only professional skills, but also human qualities, such as empathy and understanding of grief of families.
The Minister also stated that experts carefully process every appeal that promotes the faster verification of persons and their search. During this period, more than 890 clarifying questionnaires were received.
Thanks to the citizens for his trust, Klimenko reminded that information about missing persons in special circumstances can be provided at the number of "hot line": 0800-103-333. The Ministry calls on citizens to join joint efforts in search of missing persons.
