President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 7331, aimed at simplifying business and starting business in martial law. This law is intended to provide entrepreneurs with more freedom and flexibility, given the complex economic conditions that arose through the war.
According to the new legislation, economic entities are given the opportunity to carry out certain activities on the basis of filing a declaration to the relevant bodies, such as licensing bodies, permits and CNAPs, without the need to obtain certain permits or licenses. This declaration gives them the right to activity for the period of martial law and remains valid until the end of the calendar year, in which the martial law will be terminated or canceled, but at least three months from the date of its termination or cancellation.
In addition, the law extends the licenses already issued for the martial law, ensuring their validity for at least three months after completion or abolition of martial law. This will allow entrepreneurs to continue their activities without the need for regular renewal of documents, which is especially important in war.
It is also worth noting that during the martial law, the planned inspections of the licensing bodies on compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of licensing are stopped. This decision will significantly reduce the administrative pressure on entrepreneurs, allowing them to concentrate on supporting their business and storage.
