President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte held a meeting in the fields of the Munich Security Conference, during which they discussed the situation in Ukraine and the issues of security guarantees.
During the negotiations, Zelensky stressed the need for clear security mechanisms that should be one of the key conditions for establishing a long peace. The Ukrainian leader emphasized the importance of coordination with the Alliance Member States to form a single position on the end of the war and to force Russia to just peace.
The President also gratefully expressed gratitude for the continued support of Ukraine, in particular for holding meetings in Brussels in the format of Ramstein and the Council of Ukraine - NATO. He stressed that Kyiv is expecting to implement the decisions made.
The meeting of Zelensky and Rutte has become an next step in strengthening Ukraine's cooperation with NATO, aimed at strengthening security in the region and further integration of Kyiv into the Euro -Atlantic space.
