On February 7, President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief, during which he heard reports on the supply of weapons and equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The head of state reported this in his video.
According to him, the Ministry of Defense and the military leadership continue to increase not only the number of signed contracts for the supply of weapons, but also the volume of their implementation.
“Today there were reports on specific weapons and equipment, and many of our domestic production. The provision for the army should be stable, and it is the proportion of our own production that should be constantly increasing, ”the President emphasized.
Thus, Ukraine is actively working on the expansion of its own production facilities in the field of defense industry, which will strengthen the Armed Forces and reduce dependence on import assistance.
