President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported a telephone conversation with Serbia President Alexander Vuchich, during which the parties discussed the development of bilateral relations and the issues of cooperation between countries.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to Serbia for financial and humanitarian support, and also noted the importance of coordinating efforts on the way to the EU. Vuchich, in turn, congratulated the Ukrainian people on the New Year holidays and expressed his hope for the emergence of peace as soon as possible.
The President of Ukraine emphasized the importance of restoring the full work of Serbia's diplomatic institution in Ukraine after receiving the letters of the new Ambassador of Serbia. He expressed the belief that this would contribute to the development of cooperation between the two countries.
