President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has made a strategic decision on the large -scale expansion of the production of unmanned aerial vehicles. He stated this in his evening address on June 27, summarizing the meeting of the rate of the Supreme Commander, who had a technological accent this time.
According to the Head of State, the main topic of the meeting was the effectiveness of drones, their number and compliance with the needs of the front.
“The key purpose is to produce a maximum, and these are the types of drones that are needed on the front line and to protect cities. Given the technologies that the enemy develops, ”Zelensky emphasized.
The President heard reports of military command, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industry, as well as intelligence representatives who informed about Russia's technical plans. Particular attention was paid to drones.
The head of state noted that he set specific tasks for state structures and business to accelerate the production of drones.
“We scale Ukrainian potential. He gave several special assignments - until details. But the result should be obvious - an increase in production in Ukraine and Ukraine, ”Zelensky said.
He also emphasized that he counts on the effective coordination of all players - both state -owned enterprises and private sector, since the speed and scale of UAV production should correspond to the realities of modern war.
