President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the detention of generals accused of defense of Kharkiv region during his evening appeal.
Zelensky emphasized that regardless of the status or past merit, everyone should respond to the law:
"It is important that people feel that the status or any yesterday's merit will not abolish the rule of law," the President said.
The President positively evaluated the work of law enforcement agencies in investigating military affairs. He emphasized the need for transparent answers to issues related to failures in the defense of Kharkiv and other similar situations:
"Both money" military "and situations in Kharkiv, when the Russian army tried to occupy our land, and criminal mistakes in the leadership of brigades - all this requires investigative."
