President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with the leader of the opposition party "Progressive Slovakia" Michal Shimechka. The meeting discussed issues of energy security, Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, as well as support for Ukraine's sovereignty.
Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of dialogue with Slovakia and its support on Ukraine's path to the EU and NATO. The President emphasized Kyiv's readiness to help Slovakia in matters of energy stability and security.
Zelenskyi also noted that Kyiv is ready for a dialogue with the current authorities of Slovakia, in particular with Prime Minister Robert Fico.
The leader of "Progressive Slovakia" Michal Shimechka expressed his gratitude for the meeting and emphasized the bravery of the Ukrainian military, who, according to him, protect not only Ukraine, but also the whole of Europe. He also emphasized the importance of Ukraine's integration into the European Union.
Shimechka added that Ukraine's membership in the EU would help the economy and ensure security in the region.
