President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has started a working visit to Paris, where a number of important meetings and events are planned. About it reports Ukrinform on Saturday, December 7.
One of the main events of the visit will be Zelensky's meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elisha Palace. It is expected that the negotiations will discuss the issue of support of Ukraine in the war with Russia, strengthening defense cooperation, as well as further steps towards European integration.
On the same day, Zelensky will join the opening ceremony of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Paris, whose completion of restoration was a symbol of the Renaissance after the 2019 large -scale fire. The event will be attended by about 40 heads of state and governments, including US President Donald Trump.
