On December 9, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky conducted another rate of the Supreme Commander, where the key topic was the quality of the preparation of the Ukrainian military. According to the Head of State, this sphere needs significant reform. Zelensky reported that the first personnel permutations aimed at improving the preparation of soldiers had already taken place. Oleg Apostle and Michael Dropaty will be responsible for this direction. The President called it "the beginning of the system restart" and emphasized the importance of the audit of the current state of study.
At the next meeting, the President awaits a detailed report on the audit results. It should determine what elements of the training system require immediate adjustment, which innovation should be implemented and what other personnel changes are necessary.
Zelensky stressed that the quality of training of the military directly affects their efficiency in combat and, most importantly, life conservation. He noted that Ukraine is ready to provide the necessary resources to increase the level of study - both financial and organizational. Although Zelensky did not specify who can still touch on personnel changes, he assured that all measures are aimed at strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine and improving their capacity. The President believes that reforming the training system is a key step towards success in the battlefield.
