In an interview with the Reuters Agency, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that all Western assistance decisions are late for about a year.
This delay, he said, has a significant impact on Ukraine's ability to effectively resist Russian aggression and recover from destruction.
The Ukrainian leader stated that Western countries are extremely slowly making a decision on military assistance to Kiev, which complicates the situation of the Armed Forces.
"All the decisions we and then all others come together are late for about a year," Zelensky said.
Zelensky described the supply of military equipment to Ukraine, in particular, air defense systems similar to Patriot, as "one big step forward, and before that - two steps."
In an interview with Reuters Zelensky also stated that Ukraine is striking on the energy facilities of Russia, "because it leaves us without energy," the agency reports.
