Zelensky is confident in supporting Western partners

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed confidence that Western partners would not leave Kyiv alone. About it on Tuesday, March 25, writes Time with reference to the Ukrainian leader.

Zelensky stated that he did not believe in the betrayal of partners and considers such a scenario almost impossible. He stressed that the post -war period will become a time for Ukraine, and the main task is to unite the nation for the reconstruction of the country.

The President noted that after the war, a number of challenges would appear before Ukraine: demographic crisis, infrastructure restoration, veterans support. He stressed that solving these problems is possible only if close cooperation with international partners.

"If the period after the war is not gray but light, then we will see that we will rise," Zelensky said, expressing his hope for a significant influx of investment in the country after the end of the fighting. He stressed that this would happen regardless of whether he would remain as president.

At the same time, he warned that in the case of forced and humiliating peace, Ukraine may be in a state of deep depression. According to him, if Kyiv is left without the support of partners, it will be a serious blow to the country.

"But if the next stage is forced peace, humiliating, if Ukraine, God forbid, will be left with itself, and if our partners will not be partners for some reason, then Ukraine will be depressed. It will fight for everyone, and as a result," he will remain, "he said.

However, Zelensky stressed that he does not believe in such a development. He emphasized that international partners, including NATO, EU and US countries, are aware of the importance of this war and its consequences for world security.

"After all, we will have to recognize the loss of NATO, the EU, Europe, especially America and all its current leaders. All leaders are different, but many of them are no longer young. They want to go history as leaders who have succeeded. Therefore, I do not believe in these apocalyptic scenarios.
