President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the key role of drones in the modern war, calling them one of the most important tools in the fight against Russian invaders. In his speech, he stated that Ukraine would continue to increase efforts to ensure defense forces with unmanned aerial vehicles.
"The drones have already changed the war. They keep our people's lives and compensate for the shortage of other weapons, including artillery, which can make ourselves defend and destroy the occupiers," Zelensky said.
The President thanked everyone who makes an effort to ensure that Ukraine has the advantage in the field of drones: manufacturers, suppliers, instructors, as well as those who develop new technical solutions. According to him, the technological progress and development of unmanned systems can significantly strengthen the Ukrainian army both on the front line and in the rear of the enemy.
This area is one of the priority in the Defense Strategy of Ukraine, as drones have already proven effective in preserving the lives of military and tactical tasks.
