In Ukraine, there is a decrease in electricity consumption over the last two days. According to Ukrenergo, as of Wednesday, January 8, consumption remained at the same level as on the previous day - Tuesday. On January 7, the daily maximum of electricity consumption was recorded, which was 7.4% lower than Monday, January 6. This decrease is explained by a significant increase in air temperature in most regions of the country.
The report also emphasized that the situation in the power system may vary as it continues to recover from a series of massive rocket-a-okory attacks of Russian troops during 2024. Energy-renovating work is currently underway, and energy is making every effort to return to the work of damaged equipment as soon as possible.
