In Ukraine, there is a shortage of military at the front today, in particular through the reservation of more than a million citizens working at critical enterprises. At the same time, as noted by the People's Deputy of the faction for the future, Irina Konstankevich, there is a significant reserve of people in the rear, which can be mobilized to replenish the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Irina Konstankevich emphasized that among potential reserves are about 100,000 military pensioners who are at a "capable age" and are able to return to the army. According to her, about 40,000 representatives of this category are already fighting on the front. “There are more resources, and thanks to rotation, this issue can be resolved. Those who have not yet reached the retirement age and can hold weapons are more than 100,000 people, ”the deputy said.
Konstankevich also stressed that among possible candidates for mobilization - employees of the State Emergency Service, police and other security forces, who can also become a reserve for replenishment of the Armed Forces. According to the politician, there are several problems with mobilization: a significant shortage of fighters, more than a million booked, as well as numerous violations when receiving a delay from mobilization. The government had to initiate changes to the rules of reservation of citizens working at important enterprises through an electronic application "Action".
In particular, on November 22, the Cabinet of Ministers published a resolution making changes to the booking rules. Now companies that book employees from mobilization have to pay them a salary of at least 20 thousand hryvnias, and this amount should be average at the enterprise. In addition, it is planned to view the list of companies that are recognized as critical to the economy and regions. Konstankevich also spoke about the situation in Volyn, where there is a shortage of men at enterprises, in particular at the objects of critical infrastructure. She noted that in some regions, men who could be mobilized or at the front or left workplaces, which creates additional difficulties for the local economy.
Despite mobilization problems, according to the People's Deputy, there are real reserves for replenishing the Armed Forces, and this can be one way to resolve a personnel deficit on the front. In particular, this applies to military pensioners, as well as by law enforcement officers who can be involved in protecting the country during this difficult time.
