Andriy Shevchenko: the candidacy of a Ukrainian specialist is being considered for the position of head coach of Milan

The Italian football club Milan is considering the appointment of Andrei Shevchenko to the post of head coach, Italian insider Nicolo Skira said on Twitter social network.

According to the information received, the candidacy of a 47-year-old Ukrainian specialist was proposed through intermediaries, but has not yet fully convinced Milan's management. It is noted that the solution to a new trainer may be related to the situation of the current head coach Stepheno Pioli, especially if the team does not reach the Round of the Champions League Pleioff.

Andriy Shevchenko, a former Ukrainian football striker and AC Milan legend, has recently worked as a coach of the Italian club Genoa. However, under his leadership, the team managed to win only one victory in 11 matches.

Milan now ranks third in the Series A standings, scoring 26 points for 13 rounds. At the same time, the failure in the Champions League can cause the possible release of Stefano Pioli. The team is in the last place in its quartet and has 5 points before the final round of the group stage.
