Polish President Andrzej Duda during a meeting with King of Jordan Abdalal II and Jordan Prime Minister Jafar Hasan stressed the key role of his country in supporting Ukraine while fighting Russian aggression.
"If it was not for Poland, our kindness and determination to help Ukraine, I do not know if Ukraine could protect itself," the Polish leader said, emphasizing the importance of supporting allies.
Duda emphasized that it was thanks to international assistance that Ukraine has been holding back the Russian invasion for more than 1000 days. Poland has become one of the main providers of humanitarian and military assistance for Kiev, initiating many European decisions to support Ukrainian defenders.
The President of Poland has also spoken on the US permission to supply Ukraine with a radius of up to 300 kilometers. These weapons, he said, cannot threaten major Russian cities, such as Moscow, but can significantly weaken Russian offensive opportunities, pushing their logistics nodes from the front line.
"This solution will complicate for the Russians the implementation of any plans with new attacks against Ukraine," Duda emphasized.
Duda called on the Allies to consistent policy of Russia's confrontation and further support of Ukraine, indicating that without such assistance, a joint struggle could become even more difficult.
The Polish leader has repeatedly emphasized that the victory of Ukraine is also a victory for the democratic world.
