American singer Jennifer Lopez is experiencing a major personal crisis after breaking with actor Ben Affleck. According to Page Six, Lopez is "angry" and "humiliated" because of the current situation.
The couple resumed their relationship in 2021 after the rupture of Jay Lo with former bride Alex Rodriguez in April of that year. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck already had a romantic connection in the early 2000s, when they even planned marriage.
In July 2022, Lopez and Affleck celebrated their wedding in Las Vegas, and next month they organized another ceremony in the actor's home in Georgia. The couple hoped that their union would be long, but the situation developed completely differently.
According to sources, Ben Affleck seems to delay the submission of documents for divorce, which only exacerbates Jay Lo. Insiders claim that Lopez feels deep disappointment and humiliation, especially given that Afflek was the initiator of recovery in 2021.
"He humiliated her, because she considered him the love of her life. In two years they had two weddings. It is some madness for adults," the source says. Lopez is also upset that their children from previous relationships were involved in the gap: Jay Lo has a son Max and Emma's daughter from singer Mark Anthony, and Affleck - three children with Jennifer Garner: Weyolet, Serafin (Finn) and Samuel.
At this point, none of the celebrities officially comments on its gap. However, a number of media reports reports the possible approach of official divorce. "They have completed the divorce documents a month ago, but are waiting for the right time for the official announcement," the insider notes.
