From February 1, 2025, the electricity tariff for household consumers in Ukraine will remain at the level of UAH 4.32 per kilowatt-hour. This became known after the response of the Ministry of Energy to the request of People's Deputy Oleksiy Kucherenko. According to the agency, this tariff will remain unchanged until at least April 30, 2025. The question of possible price changes after this date remains open.
Also, it is worth noting that the tariff in the amount of UAH 4.32 per kWh does not depend on consumption volumes and is fixed. This price applies to all household consumers, including: residents of multi-apartment and private buildings; horticultural societies and dacha cooperatives; dormitories; garage cooperatives. For those who want to reduce energy costs, there is an option to install a two-zone meter. Such a device allows you to use the "night tariff" valid from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., when consumers pay only UAH 2.16 per kWh for electricity. According to the terms of the tariff, the installation of a two-zone meter pays for itself in five months.
The government's decision ensures the stability of electricity prices for the next few months, but the issue of further tariff changes remains under consideration.
