Dmytro Kuleba calls to expel Russia from the OSCE in order to save the organization

In the light of current events, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, expressed his view of the need for the expulsion of Russia on the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for the purpose of rescue.

At a briefing in Brussels, Dmytro Kuleba argued that the solution of problems of the OSCE requires radical measures, including the expulsion of Russia from the organization. This definition is intended to protect the role and integration of the OSCE in the light of its current difficulties.

Kuleba especially noted the support of Northern Macedonia, which allowed the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the OSCE meeting. According to him, although this decision was an attempt to save the organization from disintegration, it also violates the principles and values of the OSCE.

"We must either rewrite the OSCE without Russia, or find the way to expel Russia from the OSCE. That's all," the Foreign Minister of Ukraine emphasized.

It should be noted that despite its active participation in the war against Ukraine, Russia remains a member of the OSCE and has a significant impact on decision -making within the organization. Earlier, Moscow blocked the presidency of Estonia in the OSCE.
