Erdogan called to return Crimea to Ukraine

Turkish President Recep TaiP Erdogan in his video address to the participants of the Crimean Platform said that Crimea should return to Ukraine in accordance with the rules of international law. About it reports "European Truth" with reference to the Turkish agency Anadolu.

Erdogan emphasized that from the first day Turkey opposed the annexation of Crimea by Russia, which only deepened the suffering of the Crimean Tatars, who had already survived the deportation 80 years ago.

"Our support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine remains adamant. The return of Crimea to Ukraine is a requirement of international law," the Turkish President emphasized.

He noted that Turkey is priority to support the safety and welfare of the Crimean Tatars who have the right to live a free, safe and peaceful life in their homeland. Erdogan also noted the importance of the recent dismissal of the deputy head of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Jalya and expressed his hope for the liberation of all other political prisoners, including the brothers Asana and Aziz Akhtem.

Erdogan has completed his appeal to the end of the war in Ukraine with a fair peace, which will be based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
