The Government of Ukraine has decided to continue the validity of preferential gas prices for heat energy producers in the inter -burning period. The corresponding decision was approved on April 11 within the resolution on the imposition of special duties (PSOs) on state -owned companies that regulate gas prices during martial law. This was reported by the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
According to the government's decision, preferential terms of gas supply will be valid until October 31, 2025. This will allow the affordable cost of utilities for the population in the summer, in particular for the supply of hot water.
Today, Naftogaz Trading provides natural gas at a price of 7 420 UAH per thousand cubic meters (with VAT, but without taking into account the tariff for transportation) for the needs of heat production.
At the same time, the moratorium on increasing gas tariffs, heating and hot water remains in Ukraine. However, it does not apply to electricity, cold water and other utilities, the cost of which may change according to the economic situation.
The continuation of preferential tariffs is part of the government's efforts to support the population during the war and economic instability, ensuring stable provision of basic services.
