German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz has announced the planned allocation of a new EUR 1.4 billion to Ukraine to strengthen air defense before winter.
This was announced after the meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal in Germany.
According to the Chancellor of Germany, from the beginning of the conflict, Germany provided civilian and military assistance to Ukraine for a total amount of € 24 billion, which makes Germany the second largest partner of Ukraine after the United States.
