The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, denies his involvement in the organization of awarding the military 117 of the territorial defense brigade, which was to take place in the premises of the Congress Center at the time of the Russian blow to ballistic missiles in the city. In a telephone conversation with the publication , he noted that he was not the initiator of the event, but only received an invitation to the West.
"My initiative was not there. I was invited," Artyukh said, emphasizing that his participation was only as a guest, not the organizer of the event.
However, he did not indicate who invited him to the award. When asked by journalists about who initiated the event, Artyukh replied: "This is another topic." Thus, the official did not reveal any additional details about the organizers of the event.
At the same time, journalists sought commentary on the representatives of the 117 of the territorial defense brigade and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), but at the time of publication the answer was obtained.
