According to the resource of The Telegraph, the NATO summit in Ukraine may make a statement that the country is too corrupt to enter the Alliance. This statement can play the role of a serious call to the Government of Vladimir Zelensky and international partners of Ukraine.
"Negotiations on membership will not be able to advance until the former Soviet state is in order that will become a serious blow to Vladimir Zelensky," the newspaper reports.
As a result of the summit, the Alliance will invite "additional steps" to Kiev as a condition for membership negotiations, the US Department of State Representative told the newspaper. The conditions will be inscribed in the communique following the results of the NATO summit on July 9.
The publication reminds that "the United States is blocking the efforts of Great Britain and Europe to prescribe the" irreversible "path to Ukraine's membership in NATO."
Zelensky, who will take part in a summit in Washington, will probably make a promise of a "well -lit bridge" for NATO membership. This is "the term that the US is preferred."
