It is reported that Greece and Spain have refused to send their Patriot MSC systems to Ukraine, focusing only on the provision of missiles. This information was published by Politico, citing sources in the Spanish media.
Athens also refuse to provide the system in view of their security problems with Turkey.
"Greece is not going to send C-300 or Patriot to Ukraine," said Prime Minister of Greece Kiriakos Michotakis in an interview with Skai TV.
In recent days, the Greek media reported that a possible exchange agreement in which the United States would agree to replace either the Patriot-based Patrio system or an outdated S-300 Soviet System located on the island of Crete to be sent to Ukraine.
"We were asked, and we explained why we cannot do it," Michotakis said, explaining that these systems are "critical for our restraint potential."
