Iran and Russia are preparing to sign an agreement on comprehensive cooperation

President Masud Pesshkian will visit Moscow on January 17 to sign with Russian President Vladimir Putin an agreement on "comprehensive" cooperation between the two countries. This information was confirmed by Iran's Ambassador to Razim Jalali.

According to Jalali, the agreement will be the basis for strengthening the relationship between Tehran and Moscow in the political, economic and social spheres. One of the key points of the document will be the transportation of Russian gas to Iran, which, according to the ambassador, is an important economic project that is planned to be completed in the near future.

The ambassador also emphasized the importance of active participation of Iranian businessmen and the private sector in the Russian economy. In his view, the expansion of the presence of Iranian entrepreneurs in Russia will help to strengthen bilateral economic relations.

"The longest and most effective links between countries are the relationships between their people," Jalali emphasized.
