The Italian town of Roccarozo became an unexpected "victim" of the viral effect of social networks, when the popular Ticker Rita de Krechenzo shared video, praising the local resort as an ideal place to relax. The video quickly gained popularity, and about 10,000 tourists arrived in the city next weekend, which caused a real chaos in a small settlement where only 2000 people live.
As a result of the overflow of the town, local authorities were forced to take emergency measures. The Mayor of Roccarozo Francesco Donato has announced a ban on parking buses in the city center and proposed to attract the army to control the situation. Meanwhile, tourists, who came on inexpensive buses for 20 euros "all included", collided with crowded restaurants, lack of snow on mountain slopes and huge queues to the toilets.
The popularity of Rita de Kreschenzo's video did not remain without consequences, but the blogger herself refused to recognize her responsibility for chaos, noting that her video was a hit among families who seek to give children an unforgettable impression. The local authorities confessed that she was not ready for such influx of guests, and the locals suffered from garbage and excessive noise. The situation was so critical that eyewitnesses talked about children who literally "knocked down people" on homemade sled.
