Israel updates its plans for military offensive on the rafks to meet the requirements and wishes of the United States.
Asked whether Israel can implement an offensive in the city of Rafach, which would not cause anxiety to Biden's administration, the White House high -ranking official said that Jerusalem was moving in the right direction.
"It will be fair to say that the Israelis have updated their plans. They have taken into account many of the anxieties we expressed," the official said, not giving at the same time the full "green" plans of the tachose.
The United States has been opposed to a large -scale military operation in Rafas, warning that there is no way to carry it out so that almost 1.5 million Palestinian refugees who have found shelter in the city are not injured.
In recent weeks, Israel has begun orders to evacuate a large part of the population of the most southern city of the Gaza Sector, forcing almost two -thirds of the inhabitants to flee to the humanities in the south and west. However, the United States is still concerned that Israel has no humanitarian systems capable of taking care of so many people who have found shelter in areas destroyed by bombardment, unlike more infrastructurally developed Rafach.
Baiden's high -ranking official, after his recent trip to Israel, was less critical about Israeli efforts.
"After my trip to Israel in the last few days ... It is quite obvious that the Israelis are serious about these problems," the official said.
He also noted that the situation in Rafas has changed dramatically over the last few weeks due to the mass evacuation of Palestinians.
For more than six months in the military operation in the Gaza Sector, the Israeli Defense Army (Tsakhal) released most of Hamas's terrorists and approached the city of Rafach in the south of the region near the border with Egypt.
However, the European Union and the United States criticized Israel's intentions to attack rafhi and accused the country of violating human rights because of a large number of those killed among civilians.
The United States will not support the military operations in Rafas without a civilian protection plan. The White House also requires restriction in the city instead of a full -scale invasion.
