The winner of the presidential election in Poland Karol Navrotsky appealed to the citizens after declaring official results of the vote. In his address, he promised to represent the country with dignity and take into account all the questions that are important for the Poles.
"A difficult and sometimes cruel election campaign behind. Thanks to your voices I was elected President of the Republic of Poland. It is a great responsibility and duty. I make this decision with humility and respect," Navrotsky wrote on the social network X, thanking the voters for their support, good words and gestures.
The newly chosen president emphasized that his victory testifies to the Poles' desire to live in a "safe, economically strong country that cares for the weakest" and has a significant place in international, European and transatlantic relations.
"You can be sure that as the Head of State, I will not leave any questions that are important to Poland and Poles. I will represent you in the international arena, watching the subjective attitude to Poland," he said.
Recall that the candidate from the Law and Justice Party Karol Navrotsky won in the second round of elections with a result of 50.89%, ahead of his opponent Rafala Tashkowski, who gained 49.11% of the vote.
