The permanent representative of Ukraine under the United Nations Sergey Kislytsa stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council that North Korea had already transferred more than 20,000 containers with weapons used in the war against Ukraine. This includes 100 low-range ballistic missiles KN-23 and KN-24, which are actively used to fire the critical infrastructure of Ukraine. In 2024, more than 60 launches of North Korean missiles were recorded, which is one third of all missile attacks of Russia.
Kislytsa emphasized the importance of taking responsible countries to counteract aggression both from Russia and North Korea. He also noted that the DPRK military contingent, which is currently made up of 11,000 servicemen, can be increased to 100,000 soldiers. They fight on the side of Russia under the guise of representatives of the Far East of Russia, using fake documents.
