Kyiv sends an invitation for Tusk to visit in the coming days

According to Polish mass media, the Ukrainian side expresses its desire to organize a "quick" visit of the new Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, to Kyiv for an immediate restart of relations.

This visit is planned to be organized independently of Tusk's possible meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi this week in Brussels, where the summit of EU leaders will take place on December 14-15.

Tusk briefly mentioned a possible meeting with Zelenskyi in Brussels during one of his speeches on Tuesday. According to sources close to him, his trip to Ukraine is one of his first trips abroad, and there is a possibility that Tusk will agree to this offer.

One of his employees, commenting anonymously, indicated that it is logistically difficult to arrive in Ukraine after a 16-hour one-way journey, but noted that the path in times of full-scale war is already well established, and Tusk's visit "would be natural."
