The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office reported a successful detention of a man who established a scheme of illegal sale of manual anti -tank grenade launchers. The 40-year-old Kiev was detained during a special operation conducted by law enforcement agencies.
According to the investigation, the detainee organized criminal activity through specialized online platforms, where he offered for sale manual anti-tank grenade launchers. The man not only bought and stored these dangerous devices, but also sells them using postal services to deliver the goods to buyers.
As part of the investigation, it was found that for 40 thousand hryvnias the attacker sold the anti-tank grenade launcher AT-4. Payment for the goods was partially due to a bank transfer to the seller's card, and in part - in cash after receiving the goods. Subsequently, similarly, the attacker sent another grenade launcher, this time with industrialized anti-tank grenades RPG AT-4.
Photos provided by the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office confirm that the operatives seized the arsenal of weapons and documents confirming the criminal activity of the detainee. The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officers find out the details of the criminal scheme, as well as the possible involvement of others in this crime.
The prosecutor's office notes that illegal weapons are a serious threat to public security, and law enforcement agencies will continue to combat such crimes. The man has been charged with the illegal purchase, storage and sale of combat supplies and explosive devices, and is now in custody until the investigation is completed.
